12KV GIS gas insulated switchgear

Gas insulated switchgear is used in power systems, to control, protect, and isolate electrical equipment, such as circuit breakers, voltage and current transformers, disconnectors and earthing switches, control & protection device, and other supporting elements such as SF6 bushings and cable terminations among others. These equipment are enclosed in a metal chamber with SF6 gas insulation that has high dielectric properties and two to three times the insulating ability of air at the same pressure.
